1. auto-start Setup Steps:
1-1. After pressing the power button on the PC, quickly tap the Delete/Del key on the keyboard to enter BIOS Setup. Select to Advanced > SIO MISC Configuration > Power Failure and set it to Always on.Once the settings are successfully configured, press the F10 key on the keyboard to save and exit or select Save & Exit > Save Changes and Exit.
2.time startup setting (S5 RTC wake) , you can set the automatic power-on time according to your needs.
2-1. Follow the steps in 1-1 to enter the BIOS. Navigate to Advanced > S5 RTC wake Settings and change the wake system from S5 mode to Fixed Time. In the wake up hour, wake up minute, and wake up second, set the power-on time. After completing the settings, press F10 to save and exit. Once successfully configured, if the PC is in a powered-off or standby state, it will automatically power on at the specified time every day (in this tutorial, the power-on time is set to 8:15 AM).
3.PXE boot Setup Steps:
3-1. PXE(Preboot eXecution Environment), the pre-boot execution environment, provides a mechanism to boot a computer using the network interface. After enabling the PXE device in the computer's BIOS, PXE booting is supported. This mechanism allows the computer to boot without relying on local data storage devices (such as hard drives) or locally installed operating systems. This tutorial mainly introduces the PXE boot method. The prerequisite for successfully starting PXE is to first create a PXE boot service in the local area network. The method described here is applicable to PXE clients.
3-2. Following the steps in 1-1, enter the BIOS Setup and select Advanced > Lan PXE Config>Set PXE Boot to Legacy, and after successful configuration, press F10 to save and exit.
3-3. After enabling the PXE device in the BIOS, restart the computer. During startup, quickly press the F11 key to enter the boot manager interface. Select the desired PXE device and press the Enter key to confirm the boot.
3-4. If you want to set PXE boot as the default option every time the computer starts, enter the BIOS and select to Boot>Set Boot option #1 to Realtek PXE B01/B02. After successfully configuring the setting, press F10 to save and exit.
