A media access control address (MAC address) is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on the physical network segment. MAC addresses are used as a network address for most IEEE 802 network technologies, including Ethernet and WiFi. Logically, MAC addresses are used in the media access control protocol sublayer of the OSI reference model.
Normally hystou mini pc mac address is written to be unique before leaving factory, but sometimes due to unknown reason, qty buyers found there are several mini pc get same MAC address, and thus, the computers are not able to connect internet sametime.
Here we show how to rewrite the MAC address to hystou mini pc, similar to the forma guide of changing MAC address for thin client, but not totally same, here is step by step guide:
1. Use an empty USB disk flash to make DOS bootable USB system and extract the zip file “f”to the USB.
Note: Pls contact hystou person to get the files directly.
2. Plug the bootable usb flash disk on to the mini pc, turn on the computer and press F11, select booting from USB.
3. after goes to DOC windows, input the file name“f”, then wait about 5 seconds to finish the mac writing.
4. Restart the mini pc will be ok.
